This is where the term makeup artist comes into play. All faces, all complexions all skin tones, all ages, to enhance and soften features, to make you look the best you can be. All require individual attention when applying makeup.
I work in a very focused way and making women feel beautiful and bringing out their natural beauty is what I love doing. I listen to what look you want and look at all aspects of your personality and facial features. Through your consultation it is my ambition to deliver you a result that far exceeds your expectation. I have an extensive makeup kit which enables me to work on a large diversity of complexions and skin tone. I use only high end cosmetics specialty professional makeup artist products. I also specialise in airbrush makeup. Airbrush makeup delivers a natural, flawless, long lasting finish perfect for bridal parties or any occasion where makeup needs to last and look perfect all day and into the night. It also wears very well in hot, humid conditions. Additional charge for airbrushing. If you are a bride-to-be it is essential your have a trial make-up. This trial usually takes longer and is just as important as your wedding day. In this consultation I listen carefully to what you want and discuss the different options. I take into consideration your overall look, what the weather will probably be like, how long your makeup needs to last, where you are getting married and where you are having your photographs taken as lighting plays a big part on your wedding day. A trial makeup is also very important so you can learn what to do and what not to do with your skin leading up to your wedding day. Once you decide on the look you love I will do a face chart and take a photo so I can duplicate the same look on the day.
All brides that have a trial with Christina who book there wedding with her will receive a complimentary kit on their wedding day which will include... a lipstick pan to retouch your lipstick, translucent powder pan and blotting papers, cleanser and moisturiser to remove your makeup at the end of the evening, tissues, mints, bandaids, emery board and other products to help you throughout your day. All trials are performed at Christina's home Studio. The advantage of this is she has access to her full range of makeup compared to what can be packed in her kit. Makeup lesson/workshop 1 - 6 people. Whether one on one or a group booking Christina will show you basic skin care, how to prep your skin, choose the right shade and type of foundation for your skin tone and type, concealer, blending eye shadow for a seamless finish, eyeliner, contouring, blush, highlighter, brows, lips, lashes and if required false lashes. This is a hands on lesson so you gain as much as possible from the session. Learn advanced makeup techniques or update your normal makeup routine. This lesson is a great gift for teenagers just starting out with makeup, a group booking can be a fun afternoon. You will also learn how to change your day look into an evening look with a few extra products. All participants of the makeup lesson will receive a complimentary gift bag which may include a makeup brush set, makeup products and samples. (Products may vary subject to availability). More than one person will take longer than 2 hours which can be discussed with Christina. At the end of the lesson your final look will be a complete makeup. Men wanting to perfect their complexion, a subtle no makeup look can be achieved that photographs well and can be almost undetectable. Brows can be tamed, redness reduced and skin imperfections concealed. All Special Events....
